
Music, sports, community, food and culture are hallmarks of HBCU, and this year PepsiCo is bringing back a historically great platform to help students celebrate, elevate and engage as they prepare for the new year.
Kicking off the HBCU football season with the National Battle of the Bands, Historically Better: Powered by Pepsi Stronger Together and Doritos SOLID BLACK is a multi-campus tour that empowers and celebrates multigenerational black changemakers. The nearly four-month tour will take place in various locations and culminate in the SWAC Championship Game, according to a press release.

This program complements PepsiCo’s greater Racial Equality Initiative (REJ) commitment for more than five years. $400 million Increasing Black representation at PepsiCo, supporting and enhancing Black businesses and voices, and investing in economic opportunities in the Black community. Programming brings to life his three pillars of his REJ: people, business and community.
Talent – On-Campus Recruitment at HBCU:
From interns to executives, HBCU talent, the next generation of black corporate leaders, will create opportunities to engage with PepsiCo through on-campus recruitment events. These efforts are intended to support PepsiCo’s REJ goal of increasing the proportion of black managers to 10% of his by 2025.

A celebration of music, food and community connections, Doritos Solid Black highlights black changemakers and HBCU alumni who are driving culture through music-driven consumer activation featuring Doritos Solid Black Changemakers. DJs Mr. Rogers.
Pepsi Dig Inn calls on people to step up their support for Black-owned restaurants and calls on Black restaurateurs to take advantage of the various resources, mentorship and training made possible by PepsiCo. Students are invited to support Black-owned restaurants in his HBCU tailgates across the country and are nominated for Pepsi Diguin’s Black His Restaurant Deliver program while enjoying delicious food and refreshing beverages. -Owned restaurants by providing know-how and financial resources to grow their digital and delivery presence.
Community – Inspiring the next generation of HBCU students:
Pepsi Stronger Together Ohio’s saint Martin de Porres High School Marching Bands Take to the Biggest Stage of HBCU Culture: The National Battle of the Band on August 27By providing participation funding, Pepsi Stronger Together clevelandParticipate in Step and Stroll events to help represent the only non-local high school that allows youth access and exposure to HBCU educators and students.
During the tour, Pepsi Stronger Together and Doritos SOLID BLACK will shine a spotlight on the DJs on the HBCU campus, receiving on-site support and coaching from celebrity DJs, including DJ Mr. Rogers, as well as a tour to help them pursue their dreams. provide financial support for Entered the entertainment industry while in school.
