This follows the announcement that pixivtmedia has been accepted into the AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Accelerate Program, a co-selling program for AWS partners who provide software solutions that run on or integrate with AWS.
Not only is offline editing, visual effects (VFX), and color grading work enabled in the cloud, but it can also bring significant tangible benefits to producers in performance, collaboration, scalability, and cost efficiency.
At IBC stand 5.C80, AWS will demonstrate the five stages of the media creation lifecycle. Live camera footage is ingested into the cloud collaboration environment using daily platform Moxion. The footage is edited in Adobe® Premiere® Pro and conformed in Autodesk® finishing and VFX solution, Flame®. Stage 4 shows how FilmLight Baselight performs color grading. Finally, the content passes through Colorfront Streaming and Broker Service for QC that reads directly from Amazon S3.
High-definition, uncompressed 4K media used in all five stages of the production process is edited on powerful media-centric storage infrastructure powered by pixstor and ngenea, and 10-bit uncompressed from applications running in the cloud. Compressed video is streamed. stand. It uses the latest AWS Cloud Digital Interface (AWS CDI), NewTek Network Device Interface (NDI), and Colorfront Streaming and Broker Service technologies over a secure internet connection to your Amazon VPC. Amazon EC2 compute, Amazon Elastic Block Store, and Amazon S3 storage power the entire pixstor and ngenea solution.
