It’s a pinup! A brooch-making workshop at craft and design shop No. 19, The Craft Village. Textile and jewelry artisans at Number 19 Craft and Design will set up tables outside the store to demonstrate brooch making, giving the audience the opportunity to participate in this creative workshop. Outdoors (indoors in case of bad weather). Number 19 Craft and Design is a collective of artists/designers from the North West of Ireland selling contemporary crafts and artisan giftware in the beautiful setting of Craft Village in the heart of Derry City.5:00pm – 8:00pm

The Indian Warli Art Workshop at the Arts Factory at the Gasyard Centre. Join Sarika Art and learn about the traditions and techniques of creating your own Warli art in pots and canvas. It’s a fun evening of free climate-themed art and growing workshops. “Outside Walled City Gifts & Coffee from 5pm to 7pm, Artillery Street is fun for the whole family with flowerpot workshops, permaculture-themed events and eco-friendly recycled art activities! Come hear about The Playhouse’s new community garden, opening next spring, meet permaculture design expert Joan Butler of OURganic Gardens, and create garden art with Anna Barclay of Butcher Street’s eco-art. prize.

Thunder in the Square at Guildhall Square from 6pm. Culture Night highlights YES and Our Streets take center stage in Guildhall Square, with a portable skate park, music stage and safe spaces for young people to gather, listen to music, skate and watch the game. Introduce cultural festivals. Live music, grind rails – half pipes, ramps, kicker rails. Hosted by Our Space in partnership with the Youth Work Alliance. Open to all ages.
