Kentucky Wesleyan College is one of the 143 best colleges in the Southeast, according to The Princeton Review.

German American Bank Announced as Presenting Sponsor of Leadership Wesleyan
Kentucky Wesleyan College welcomes German American Bank as a presenting sponsor of Leadership Wesleyan. Hosted by the Office of Alumni Relations, this program is designed to prepare junior and senior students for life after college. The three-year partnership agreement includes the support of the Wesleyan Scholarship Fund, which benefits all her KWC students. KWC launched a Leadership Wesleyan pilot session in March and received positive feedback from attendees.

Two local students selected as UK Undergraduate Research Ambassadors
The University of Kentucky’s Undergraduate Research Office (OUR) has announced that 22 undergraduate students have been selected for the 2022-23 Undergraduate Research Ambassador Program.

Gabija Ziemyte, Physics and Mathematics Major, Owensboro, Kentucky, College of Arts and Sciences
The program’s mission is to raise awareness and create opportunities for students to actively engage in research and creative scholarship. Ambassadors must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and be involved in mentored research. This year’s ambassadors represent 6 universities, 15 disciplines and 18 research areas.
The goal of student leaders is to make undergraduate research more accessible. Ambassadors are available for student outreach and program events such as tables, information sessions, student workshops, lectures, class and student organization presentations, and OUR-sponsored events such as the 5-Minute Fast Track Competition and undergraduate showcases. Promote research engagement and opportunities for undergraduate students through Scholar.
