A recent video appeared to show an assistant principal in Greenwich, Connecticut, professing that he only hires progressive teachers. In the video, he argues that Catholics are too rigid, and older teachers too fixated on their ways, to yield to his mission of progressive education. Therefore, it explains that it will not be adopted.
In Greenwich he is probably an outlier. I live in Greenwich and the school system has him in second grade. He’s had two great teachers and obviously he’s just started with a third with great promise. Still, most pranks in progressive education occur in the upper grades, so I reserve judgment.
But this problem is not a Greenwich problem, but a national problem, or more precisely a Beltway problem. The National Teachers Union, headquartered in Washington, DC, and the Biden administration are clearly pushing left-wing policies. They are doing everything possible to inject Critical Race Theory (CRT) into the country’s public schools, despite all the protests to the contrary.
Just months after the Biden administration took office in April 2021, the Federal Department of Education produced the proposed rule in the Federal Register. This indicates a preference for federal grants for teacher training and education in the awarding of federal educational grants in American history and civics education. Classroom instruction to projects that “embed anti-racist practices into teaching and learning.”
The proposed rule cites the work of one of the most radical progressives as the authoritative basis for the rule. Kendy is famous for many inflammatory statements, such as “The only remedy for racism is anti-racism.” Apparently, Professor Kendi had never heard the adage that two mistakes do not make right.
Moving on to the National Teachers Union, we see that the National Education Association is adopting a resolution at its 2021 Annual Meeting. , racism, patriarchy, lineage patriarchy, capitalism, disabilityism, anthropocentrism, and other forms of power and oppression at the intersection of our societies, and we are critical people I oppose attempts to ban species theory and/or the “1619 Project”. “Criticism” equals denial, denial of capitalism is the same as advocating socialism, opposition to banning CRT is the same as promoting it.

The journal’s writers reviewed the material and concluded that the teachers apparently had CRT training. School districts may “think they can get rid of parents by separating teacher training from curriculum,” says the journal.
The editorial then got to the heart of the matter.
It is clear that the CRT and its associated radical ideological theories are not springing up from the grassroots of America. Force-fed from Washington DC.

Progressives in Washington, DC want to use public schools as centers of indoctrination. When parents resist, federal law enforcement is sent to “investigate” alleged violence against school boards. Teaching highly controversial and divisive theories has to be spread throughout the school system, mostly “under the covers”. Parents whose rights and rights are being trampled on by progressives and teacher unions must actively resist.
