Students are back at school this week. Our students are excited and hopeful to have a great school year as they look forward to the next important milestone in their educational journey.
More than ever before, parents, schools and the wider community are working together to put the educational well-being of every child front and center, and steer the path of education to increase children’s chances of success in life. I have to keep walking. Such collaborative efforts enable all students to thrive and achieve better educational outcomes.
Knowing the value of accountability, parents and teachers should be on the same page at the start of this new school year and maintain it throughout the year. These positive interactions between home and school go a long way in promoting and sustaining student learning and achievement. Perhaps students will come to realize that learning and achievement can be fun.

Our children and young people must realize that there is no magic or easy shortcut to acquiring knowledge and skills, education is not a major determinant of where life goes. Unfortunately, many of the young people on the fast track to success find themselves in a difficult situation. So, parents and other student advocates, let your children dream big, nurture the fortitude to reach those dreams, and don’t let their drive, determination, and willingness to work hard get in the way. prize.
