Innovators from a wide range of South Carolina industries have been named finalists for the 2022 InnoVision Awards.
Eighteen organizations in six categories represent sectors large and small from across South Carolina’s innovation economy.
According to a news release from the InnoVision Awards, the InnoVision Awards recognize South Carolina individuals and organizations for impactful innovations in development in South Carolina within the past 18 months.

All finalists will be honored at the InnoVision 2022 Meet the Finalists Series, sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Research, according to the release. The series will take place virtually at 4 p.m. on his three consecutive Tuesdays Sept. 20, Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. Each event will feature finalists in two prize categories. The series is open to the public and free for those who pre-register by clicking here.
InnoVision’s annual awards program culminates in a virtual annual awards celebration on November 15th. During the awards ceremony, InnoVision will showcase each finalist’s innovations in a video profile, announce the winners in each award category, and present two special awards. Ibrahim Janajreh Young Innovator Award and Dr. Charles Townes Individual Achievement Award.
