1) The Ridgeway Chamber Open, a golf tournament that benefits local youth programs, returns today after a two-year hiatus. The tournament takes place at the Divide Ranch and Club above town. There is a shotgun start at 1pm followed by a celebratory BBQ at 5pm. Join us for dinner for just $25.
2) From 6-7:30pm, try an Italian aperitif with mixologist Bianca Darby-Matteoda at the Ah Haa School Tasting. Visit ahhaa.org and register.

Friday, September 9th
1) Take a tour of Lone Tree Cemetery with a Telluride Historical Museum guide today at 1pm (if you want to accompany them, please meet at the main shed building of the cemetery).
2) Dead Horse’s Sara Voss and Daniel Wolfe perform tonight at Reflection Plaza for the final installment of Music on the Green, a free Friday summertime concert.Show time is 5pm
3) The Telluride Theater and Town of Telluride presents an adults-only production titled “Bear It: Bear Safety for the 21.”st Century, at the transfer warehouse tonight. Admission is free. You can also use the after-party after the performance (this is also free of charge).
4) Singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson is performing tonight at the Sheridan Opera House. Show time is 8pm. Tickets are available at sheridanoperahouse.com.
Saturday, September 10th
1) AA meetings are held 7 days a week at Box Canyon, with a women-only meeting on Saturdays at 4pm. The social gathering will take place in Christchurch, but you can join us via Zoom (code is 825-367-0042). ).
2) Storytime sessions for kids are back at Wilkinson Public Library after an August hiatus. Once today at 10:30 am and twice next Tuesday and Thursday.

“The Perils of Modern Education” is Telluride High School’s cheekily titled Play in 48, and under the direction of instructor Angela Watkins, these young actors have only 48 hours to learn their lines and perform this production. Means it was not given. night. Show time for this one-night-only, unique performance is 5pm. Recommended donation is $5.
Communion Wine Bar will be hosting a sushi dinner with wine pairing for two this evening at 5:30pm and 7:30pm.

1) Be Bear Aware, Part Deux: ursine-awareness continues with a “Bear Aware” puppet show for the younger set at Transfer Warehouse Monday through Wednesday at 9am and 10am.
2) Botanists Peggy Lyon and Mary Menz are strolling through Ironton Fenn on Monday. This trip is sponsored by Great Old Broads for Wilderness. Meet at noon at the parking lot just north of Ironton Townsite, west of US 550, for a picnic lunch (bring your own).Walk starts at 1pm
